Creating an African Safari Camp. We set out to revolutionize the industry by creating the first Fair Trade safari camp. We aimed to create a world class experience, while providing our employees with an industry leading wage, health insurance, and education for their children. We proposed the project as a sponsored, destination marketing tool for Land Rover. Because Land Rover is centered around adventure and discovery, creating this experience in collaboration seemed natural. While most safari-goers are over the age of 45, we wanted to reach for the next generation of safari-goers (28-40), who have the money to travel, but wouldn't normally see an African safari as an accessible option, whithout excluding the current demographic. We created an inclusive, rather than exclusive, new culture for the safari industry.
I took all of the photography featured in the work, developed all branding, marketing and promotional materials (including: out of home advertising, brand video, google display and search ads, email blasts, social engagement, and events), developed a 4 year business plan, pitch video, met with international ambassadors to U.S. and Tanzania to legitimize our company, partnered with the #1 international safari agency (Africa Travel Resource), designed the entire camp, and assembled a local staff with years of industry experience.

The posters acted as a visual conversation on all the reasons you should go, and answering the questions that prevent you from doing so.
